Beyond the Limit Studio ("we", "our", or "us") built the FastXS application as a free app supported by advertising. This page explains what information we handle, why we handle it, and your rights. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Disclaimer: FastXS is an independent third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to X Corp. (formerly Twitter) or any other platform whose content may be accessible through this application. FastXS is intended solely for downloading publicly available media for personal, offline use. Users are fully responsible for ensuring their use of the app complies with the terms of service of any platform they interact with and all applicable laws in their jurisdiction. We do not condone or facilitate any form of copyright infringement or misuse.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We are transparent: FastXS does not operate any back-end server that receives, stores, or processes your personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:
Your name, email address, or contact information
Your X (formerly Twitter) username or password
Your download history or browsing activity within the app
Your location data
2. X (formerly Twitter) Login & Session Cookies
How it works: Some content on X (formerly Twitter) requires an authenticated session to access. FastXS provides an optional in-app browser login so you can authenticate directly with X. When you do so:
Your credentials are entered directly into X's own login page — we never see them.
The resulting session cookies (authentication tokens) are stored exclusively and securely on your own device using Android's built-in storage.
These tokens are used only to make requests from your device to X's servers to retrieve media links. They are never transmitted to our servers.
You can remove them at any time by tapping Log Out on the Profile screen.
3. Advertising — Google AdMob
FastXS displays ads provided by Google AdMob to support ongoing development. AdMob may collect and use the following to serve relevant ads:
Android Advertising ID (AAID)
General device information (model, OS version)
General usage signals (clicks, impressions)
This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. You can review it here: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time from your device's Settings → Google → Ads.
4. Permissions We Require
Internet Access — to fetch media and serve ads.
Storage / Media Files — to save downloaded content to your gallery.
Post Notifications — to show download progress in the notification tray.
Foreground Service — to keep downloads running reliably in the background.
5. Data Security
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no server-side risk of a data breach affecting you. Session cookies stored locally on your device are managed by Android's secure storage. We recommend keeping your device up to date and using a screen lock for general security.
6. Third-Party Links
The app may contain links to external sites (e.g. Play Store, our support email). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their individual privacy policies.
7. Children's Privacy
FastXS is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
